Legends on the Niagara Battlefield
The greens at the Legends on the Niagara courses have been built to PGA specifications and are typically large, gently contoured and kind ? putts roll true and fast, but not too fast. Bunkers are deep, well drained, soft and feature Ohio-grade white sand.
Battlefield Golf Course
Golfers at every level will find a challenge at the Battlefield Course. The host of the 2004 BMO Canadian Women?s Open, this course is made up of an interesting blend of lakeside holes, links-style holes bordered by tall fescue, and a handful of secluded holes surrounded by mature Carolinian forest. A number of strategically positioned fairway, waste, and greenside bunkers come into play, and where there are no bunkers, there is water! In fact, water is featured on seven holes, and many of the holes have both the Ohio-white bunkers and water hazards. The Battle of Chippewa, fought on July 5th, 1814 during the war of 1812, took place on the land bordering the course, hence the course?s name. Let's hope you come off conqueror here!
